Growing up, Patrice loved reading and expressed an early interest in all things creative.    Patrice received her undergraduate degree from Towson University, a Masters of Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland University College and is also an active member of the American Association of Professional Coders.  Besides being a healthcare professional by day, Patrice is an entrepreneur and founder of:

• Design Corner, a dessert and event design company. She loves designing experiences and believes that fostering intentional creativity enhances learning and engagement.

• The Possibilities of Me, a children's book written to illustrate the possibilities of believing in yourself and modeling positive imagery for young girls.

• Patch Us if You Can, a children/adult clothing and accessory boutique

• Crafternoon Tea - A craft workshop

She loves designing experiences and believes that fostering intentional creativity enhances learning and engagement.  A Maryland native, she loves spending time with family and friends, traveling (especially to her parents’ native home of Trinidad), reading, baking and crafting.
